Fake Apple Billing Info Emails Spreading, Steals Your Credit Card Information

[ via Chip Hazard ] 28 Dec

Just like Apple’s MobileMe scam, another round of fake emails are spreading which shows your billing information to be outdated in attempt to take your credit card credentials, write Wahaab JB at Chip Hazard.

If the link provided by the email is clicked by the user it will take you to a third party person instead of official Apple store website which could steal your account info. The message looks convincing and is sent by the id : appleid@id.apple.com. Below is the email that is recieved by Apple users :-

If you point the cursor on the link, you can see that the URL goes to somewhere else which asks for your Credit Card Information in attempt to steal your money.
It’s always a good practice to check the URL address like the above method before you click it to be on the safe side.
