Google Might Soon Release Siri Alternative For Android With App Codenamed "Majel"

[ via Chip Hazard ] 13 Dec

Ever since iPhone 4S came, Siri’s buzz started to spread every corner of the world which was enough to convince its rivals like Google to start working on the alternative for Siri on Android that could change things for users, says Wahaab JB of Chip Hazard.

Google at the moment is working on a Siri alternative as reported by Androidandme :-

Over the last couple weeks I received further details about the secret project. For starters it is codenamed Majel, which comes from Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, better known as the voice of the Federation Computer from Star Trek.

Competition has always been the essence of greatness, with Google investing their resources to compete with Siri it’s much likely that Apple will show flexibility in Siri which is something the Cupertino company has failed to do as till now, it hasn’t even made the port of Siri to older models of iPhone possible yet.
