Apple concluded its 2011’s proceedings on a positive note with NetMarketShare statistics showing over 52-percent of mobile devices found browsing online were using iOS. Apple’s platform arch-rival, the Google’s open-source Android was way behind with only 16-percent share.
According to the latest figures, iOS was on top of the list with more than half of the mobile devices were using Apple’s operating system that were seen online in December. However, the situation is not so-cozy as the share of iOS has dropped significantly compared to October (at that time, iOS was cruising with 61.5% share).
