The Spanish World Number 2 Rafeal Nadal will face French Monfils in the semi finals of Doha Cup. Nadal, who recently beat Youzhny 6-4, 6-4 in the quarter finals. Nadal won 75 percent of his first serve points, and was equally good on the nets as well, winning 8 of 9 points there.
Monfils, seeking his fifth title, has defeated Nadal just once in their previous nine meetings. However, his only victory against the 10-time major champion came in the Doha quarter-finals two years ago.
