French Open enters into Semis with Djokovic and Serena Williams

The French Open, last Grand Slam before the Wimbledon, enters into the semis stage with Djokovic and Murray playing their semis today.

With the ouster of Nadal in very early stage who had won the title nine times, it is more likely that Djokovic will overpower Murray should the clash in the finals. But if it is Wawrinka against Djokovic, then anything can happen!!

Murray meets Stan Wawrinka in the semis today. Wawrinka was the winner of the Men's Singles in 2015. It was his second Grand Slam singles title and his first at Roland Garros.

In the women singles race, America's Serena Williams is right there despite all odds and her age, playing her semi against K. Bertens. Williams had beaten Y. Putintseva in the quarters 5-7, 6-4 and 6-1 while K. Bertens beat T. Bacsinszky 7-5 and 6-2.

It may be added that Serena Williams won the Women's Singles in 2015. It was her 20th Grand Slam singles title and her third at Roland Garros.
