A gunman wearing a Santa Claus hat and a mask held up a pharmacy in the Point Loma neighborhood on the morning before Christmas, San Diego police said Saturday.
The robber escaped from Point Loma Cabrillo Drug with an undisclosed amount of money and pills, police said. He was described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, wearing a dust mask over his mouth and nose.
The drug store heist was the second crime reported this Christmas season in the San Diego area where the crook was wearing a Santa hat.
