England wins Davis Cup after 79 years

It was a great day today for the Great Britain as it won the coveted Davis Cup for the first time since 1936 after Andy Murray beat Belgium's David Goffin to clinch the decisive point in Ghent.

Murray won 6-3 7-5 6-3 to give the Belgians an unassailable 3-1 lead in the best-of-five tie.

Back in 1936, it were Bunny Austin and Fred Perry who beat the Australians to win the Davis Cup for Britain.
